What I liked

I was booked in for day surgery to have a mastectomy. While being nervous about the operation I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable by the staff at the Plane Tree Centre. I was treated with respect and dignity and had certain procedures explained to me. After the operation I received great treatement and aftercare until I was able to go home. Thanks to all who assisted and helped me.

What could be improved

The surgeon could have explained more about the operation and possible complications during and immediately after the operation and other possible problems such as infections and pain management. Was also only given pain medication for 4 days which was not sufficient.
