Anything else?
I had surgery to remove a Lipoma from my back on 23rd May 2013. I was really scared as I had read horror stories about the Surgecentre. My fears were unfounded. All the staff were really friendly, the place was the cleanest place NHS wise i have every visited and everybody really looked after me and made me feel 'special'. My only disappointment would be that I didn't receive the promised follow up phone calls after 24 and 72 hours to see if i was OK, but that may be because I went back the day after to have my dressings changed and the drain removed so they knew how I was. Nearly two weeks later, my scar is healing nicely and in fact, only looks like a big cat scratch so i'm really pleased with that. The surgeon also advised me to have it under local anaesthetic rather than general as it was safer for me so this is what I went with. Overall, really pleased with this place.
