"I was seen very quickly. I went ..."

About: Queen Mary's Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was seen very quickly. I went to the hospital with the intention of going to A&E and when I got there was told there was a separate minor injuries unit. I initially thought it was going to mean a long wait. But I was seen almost immediately, the staff were prompt, the treatment was thorough and I felt like a patient and not a statistic.

What could be improved

Nothing, thanks for the help!

We are delighted the service worked well for you. The new urgent care centre aims to see patients within an hour. This service is run inside Queen Mary's Sidcup by Bexley Care Trusts.

Patients who need to go through to A&E will be seen within four hours - last year QMS had one of the top performing A&E departments in London
