About: Queen Mary's Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

It was good to see that previous comments were acted on and that patients now go directly to the day surgery centre.

Nursing care absolutly fantastic.

What could be improved

Bed Height. for those of us under 5ft 3in the Day surgery beds do not come down low enough and make it very difficult to get on and off when you are in pain.

The beds on ruxley ward although they have great matresses, same problem with height. I am not used to having a bed that I cannot control.

No effective pain managment. Sent home with paracetamol which was not effective.

Thank you for your comments about bed height which will be forwarded to the relevant department.

We are sorry to learn you did not have sufficient pain control - this feedback will be useful for us in the future
