Like all units in this hospital you get some good some bad staff . Since i was diagnosed with this illness i have had stays in the cancer ward as an inpatient and found it was the worst time of my life. I do not mean the illness obviously that was going to be bad enough but some of the nurses here should not be allowed to look after cancer victims . I found some of the behaviour by nursing staff atrocious . I was handled roughly whilst very ill and treated very disrespectfully , i feel like a previous comment someone else made that i was treated disrespectfully by some staff because i was in such a weak vulnerable state that they knew they could get away with it and maybe because of my advancing years , I really cannot stress enough how bad my stay in the cancer ward was due to the bad attitude of some of these nurses . After reading some of the positive comments about the services here , in my opinion it seems the staff pick and choose whom they treat well . I found staff here very unprofessional with few exceptions . As for the new Phoenix unit i find this a better place to attend but again the staff can be a bit hit and miss ,one or two of ths staff are very good and seem to genuinely care but others do not . Having a stressful job or being very busy is no excuse for not doing the job properly and courteously .
"Really Very bad experiences here"
