You would think that taking a blood test is a relatively simple procedure. But not at this hospital. Having been placed on a high-watch drug regime that requires weekly monitoring, I had 4 blood tests scheduled in advance. I have the first 2, turn up for the 3rd and find that the 3rd and 4th had not been put on the system even though the initial request was over 6 weeks ago. To add insult to injury, the 'manager' had decided to stop allowing people to have their tests, because they didn't have enough staff on to cover and they wanted to go home at 6pm, so they stopped people at 5.30pm. But it's okay, I then got a txt message the next day to tell me the result of the blood test I didn't take was fine !!! Useless, farcical !!
