I was on Holiday in the Lakes and developed a painful allergic reation to some medication across my back causing considerable pain. Unable to see my own GP (Maidstone Kent) attended A & E at Furness General Hospital at about 2230 on Monday 3rd June 2013 hoping for some advice and help. I was not dissapointed. From reception to Triage Nurse and Doctor I could not wish for better treatment. My situation was understood and dealt with promptly. I left feeling much reassured and comfortable and with the prospect that the medication supplied to me at that time would cover my treatment until my return journey to Kent and a visit to my GP.
