Thank you for your compliments regarding the staff and service at Grantham. I am not quite sure what you are referring to when you say ' due to recent changes in policy things have become more awkward in approaching certain aspects....' You talk about ' staying to relax and gather your thoughts' when visiting our office and say that by not being able to do this you have been more inclined to 'use' again

We have made some changes in our waiting area. This is because clients were using the area to congregate with friends - some of whom were not Addaction clients. This could sometimes lead to noisy discussions and people new to the service had found this sort of atmosphere rather threatening and made them reluctant to return for further help. It also compromised their confidentiality when standing at the reception counter. I hope that you can appreciate that our service needs to be welcoming for everyone and it is always difficult to walk in to somewhere new and ask for help.

This is just the sort of issue that can be discussed further at our Service User Group, held on Wednesday afternoons, please give me a call to find out more about it. We may be able to find other ways to help and support you.
