"Ward 25"

About: Freeman Hospital

Anything else?

I recently underwent a double lung transplant at the Freeman Hospital. Due to complications I was ambulanced from the South of England back the to the Freeman where I immediately received the greatest of care from the warm wonderful staff of Ward 25, along with that of the cardiothoracic and transplantation team. It's like a home away from home, thank you to everyone involved. Just the mashed tatties on the cottage pie are still a bit rubbery!

Thank you for taking the time to post your kind comments on NHS Choices. It means a lot to our staff to receive comments such as yours. Your feedback has been passed on to Sister Douglas for her to share with the ward team. It has also been sent to Mr Clark, Director of Cardiopulmonary Transplantation. Thank you for your comment about the mashed potato. We will bring this to the attention of the Catering Manager.
