Loss of hearing was affecting my life, so I asked my GP about it and he arranged hearing tests and then when results confirmed that I did have a problem, he referred me to the audiology department at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

Soon afterwards I was offered a further assessment (at the PRH) which confirmed that my hearing loss was sufficient to justify hearing aids.

Thus, today in mid May, I received my hearing aids. So, from 1st appointment with my GP from late March to mid May, in my opinion, represents a very good outcome.
