"Unreliable for selection of hospital"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

There was a 11 day space between when TRAQS received notification from my GP to you - end of financial year most likely. This is not a problem.

Choice of hospitals is irrelevant as there is no way of making an informed decision with the information available.

Unreliable for selection of hospital - cannot be made on merit. Choice without accurate information is no real choice.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback following your recent referral via TRAQS.

TRAQS can only access a patient's referral data when the GP practice have processed the referral and as you mention this can take a few days depending upon the practice.

TRAQS have provided all practices with a supply of leaflets which give patients details of how TRAQS works and what the patient can expect., You do not mention if your GP gave you a copy of this leaflet or not.

If you wish to research your options and Choice of hospitals there is a website called www.nhschoices.co.uk which will assist you. Many patients have expressed a wish to research their options before booking an appointment and TRAQS are more than happy to guide patients through this process whenever necessary.

Thank you again for your feedback.
