"My treatment from paramedics and the staff at Tameside"

About: North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I suffered from an asthma attack, my husband phoned 999 as it came on very quickly.

The paramedics were so kind and helpful, they kept me calm and spoke to me as well as my husband. A student paramedic was very professional and knowledgeable, with his treatment. I was treated very well.

When I arrived at A&E I was seen quickly and I was kept up to date with my treatment, and everything was explained to me, I also suffered from seizure whilst there, the staff cared for me very well and could not do enough. When I saw a doctor he was kind and like all the staff thorough with his investigation and questions. Even though it was 1am the staff, including the porter and X-ray staff were kind and helpful, and had lovely bedside manner.

Ths hospital gets a bad press but I found my treatment efficient, quick and professional. Thankyou for taking care of me.
