We have visited the a&e children's department several times. We had always experience inordinate waiting times - this morning for instance, there was only one person ahead of us and they still managed to take a full 90 minutes before seeing us. It seems like either the hospital is badly underresourced or staff/doctors dont care about keeping their patients waiting. In general the condition of the facilities is poor - filthy waiting rooms, toilets, etc. And we have rarely felt any warmth or humanity from doctors, they look rather uninterested and they never seem to pinpoint what's wrong with the baby, leaving us to self diagnose online.
