"xray department"

About: Florence Nightingale Community Hospital

Anything else?

My go rang and arranged xrays at DRI London Road. Three-dimensional receptionist there new my age, name etc. My gp said i could go there, it is the nearest and cheapest option. I especially got my gps receptionist to call and make sure it was acceptable on their side has past xrays there where bad experiences. I always go alone. Once i got there the usual drama began. All the way through i got dirty looks stared at throughout bit by one staff but 3. They complained and made such a big deal. I was told off and told continuously that i should never came there and that i should go to the utoxitor rd hospital. I did ask why did they say it was o.k to come down. The staff took turns and grouped together to constantly stare me out. I smiled and they never attempted once break their cold hard Look. I was called twice again got repeated lectures pd why i turned up there and not to come again. I felt my color had offended them each and every time. These people hid behind their job got together to intimidate me. Because i needed xrays i was forced to tales the humiliation. They usually deal with pensioners. I didnt ser these people work just gossip and stare at me. One staff is more than enough. The person who took me in got xray was the same and repeated the lecture and gave me a final lecture before dismissing me. This has happened more than four seperate times yet the last time was worse because they told my gps receptionist it was o.k for me to come. I was so shocked. They still did it. The blood bank is different i felt normal and fine there. Xray department was not in below options box so i tick another. O

Many thanks for your kind comments regarding your recent attendance at the Blood Clinic at our London Road Community Hospital (LRCH). I was very pleased to hear that you found your visit to the Clinic was a positive experience and the staff in attendance on that day, were proficient, friendly and cheerful. I am sure the staff in the Blood clinic will be very appreciative of your kind comments and I will certainly ensure that their Managers receive a copy of this feedback to share with them. Many thanks once again, for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and I certainly hope that should you ever need to return to either of our Blood Clinics in the future, your experience is as positive as your most recent visit. Kind regards, Deborah Furness from the Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Patient Experience team
