About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

I had a loop diathermy over 14 weeks ago, after receiving severe abnormalities from my recent smear test, hospital was fantastic getting me in with a week n half to have the loop done but it now been 14 weeks since this was done and i haven't received any results i have rang a couple of times and get past from pillar to post, in the end my own doctor checked the hospital systems and found out they found severve endometriosis as well, which no one has bothered to inform me about, my doctor is unable to do anything about this as i am now under the Leicester royal, so im left sitting here with no results and no info on this endometriosis that has been found.

Dear Pinkysmurf Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very sorry to hear about the lack of communication regarding the results and the upset this has caused. If you could please provide your name and date of birth so we can get your medical records I would be happy to ensure this is looked into properly. In addition I would like to offer an urgent appointment for you to meet with one of the consultants so you can discuss this diagnosis in detail. Please contact me on 0116 258 5522 or 0116 258 6116. Regards Dr Andy Currie, Clinical Director for the Womens Service, UHL.
