Anything else?
I have had a total hip replacement six weeks ago and am delighted with the care that I recieved. I can now walk without a stick and consider the procedure as being a new lease of life compared with the state I was in before surgery. The care was exemplory, even the food was good! I was advised to be awake during the surgery and found this quite bearable. One advantage of this was that when wheeled into the recovery room I was immediatley given a ham sandwich and a cup of tea. You cant do that with a general anasthetic. Go for the spinal injection.
