I have read some of the reviews about QA hospital. I think you have to keep in mind there are many different departments and the care can vary. One may be bad and yet others are excellent. Hopefully when enough bad reviews reach the powers that be abut a particular department then things might change. I have had bad experiences with QA in the past but also good ones. I was given a chice of which hospital to use for my recent operation, I chose St Mary's and they sent me to QA. The operation ws successful and the experience was extremely good and I have nothing but praise for all the staff. My greatest complaint was with emergencies when I reported with a gum infection a few years ago and I was in great pain. I arrived at QA at 5:30pm was shown to a room and at 11:30pm I walked out of the hospital having been ignored for 6 hours, though I repeatedly asked when I would be seen. I was treated the following day at St Mary's where I had an appointment to see a specialist following an operation there. He couldn't believe the treatment I had received, I never wanted to ever go to QA again. I have of course received treatment with Audiology and Urology recently and they have been superb.
