What I liked
Was admitted recently via A&E for an operation. The A&E team were very responsive.
The treatment area for the minor illness area was open to the public. Friends of patients would just walk in and out freely.
Which I felt uncomfortable about.
When I was transferred to my ward. My emergency operation was delayed by a day. If you know this can happen in advance then your exepctations can be managed. I did not so I thought that I was forgotten about.
Hygiene of the patient toilets was very poor. I had vomitted in the toliets and told the staff that it would need cleaning.
The next day, my dry vomit was still there.
I think that that the medical staff are some of the best in the world
What could be improved
Hygiene of the patient toliets?
Why are they so filthy, you can tell that they are not properly cleaned.
They are a breeding ground for bugs.
This I find very worrying.
