"I get confused who my worker is as they keep changing"

About: Addaction Boston

(as the patient),

I got transferred to Addaction last year and since then I have had four different workers. I have to repeat my life story every time which is hard.

I get confused who my worker is as they keep changing and even staff don't know who it is.

I come for appointments and my worker isn't here.

People are all nice but I don't like new workers every couple of months.

We are sorry to hear that your treatment has been disrupted as a result of changing workers. At Addaction we aim to maintain consistency by ensuring that our service users stay with one keyworker throughout treatment however, we can not guarantee that workers will not relocate during this time.

Your details will be held on your file which should avoid excessive repetition but at the same time the worker will review your circumstances at every session in order to factor these in to your Recovery Plan.

Please accept our apologies for changes in your worker and we hope that your progress is not hampered whilst you adapt to a new member of the team. Thank you for your feedback.
