I was admitted to Torbay Hospital on the 10th May in great pain and was eventually diagnosed with pleurisy. Right from a telephone call to the 111 service, the care I had from the ambulance men and the efficient way in which I was dealt with by doctors and nurses, the treatment I had was first class. Even the volunteers were helpful and supplied my friend with coffee and me with sandwiches. This is how our National Health Service should be run. My thanks to all the staff concerned.
