What I liked
I visited Homerton as a patient for day surgery in August 2007. I have to be honest and say I was very pleasantly surprised at how efficient and trouble free the whole experience was. I was seen very quickly, didn't have to wait too long, and when I did have to wait the reasons why were explained to me. Some of the staff smiled and were friendly. I was asked, after the surgery if I was comfortable. I was admitted at 7.30am and out at 1pm - amazing!
The after care advice was good and I was given an out of hours phone number "just in case". Thank you Homerton
What could be improved
Most people smiled and said hello and introduced themselves to me and explained everything. If everyone could have done the same it would be perfect.
Also there is no waiting area for relatives.
