"horrendous experience"

i was disgusted at the level of care i recieved when i went to a&e in april. the reception staff were caring and nice, however the triage nurse was horrendous, rude, obnoxious, and not one care about any patients, they made me feel so uncomfortable and that i was wrong for being there. i immediatley put a complaint in to complaints department but suprise suprise still waiting for a reply! also the waiting times at a&e are ridiculous, i understand emergencies take priority but 6-7 hours with a child with me is just silly! needs more staff and organisiation. also my little girl whos 17 months old was with me and she was in the kids play area, there was a cigarette butt, empty juice bottle and dirty tissues on the floor! also the toys are all broke and sticky and dirty it was appauling. its put me off coming back to use this a&e id much prefer bradford. ive heard so many people complain due to the service in a&e but nothing changes. it has a bad reputation as ive heard so many times yet no-one invharge seems to take the necassary steps to improve it!!! ive been to see the breast care team many times and they are superb and so caring, but a&e for me is horrendous!!!!
