I have been a member of Benenden for 6 years and was refered to the hospital for 2 cataract operations ,one in April the other in May of 2013, As a very nervous patient I cannot thank everybody enough from the welcoming staff at the front reception desk to the kindness and reassuring nurses on the ward and in the operating theatre, and of course the skill and professionalism of the different surgeons on both my eyes. On both occasions I was in and out of the hospital within the hour there was no queuing or waiting for hours everything ran to time .The whole atmosphere there was so relaxing you where treated as a person and not a number .Also a friendly follow up phone call followed a few days after to check on my condition. I welcome the good news that the planning application for the £40 million redevelopment has been given the go ahead and I would like to wish the trust and everybody all the very best and success for the future.
