"Fantastic staff from Xray department"

I feel compelled to write a review of the marvellous staff I encountered today, whilst I attended an appointment at the Xray department of NTGH. I had mixed up my dates and was a week early for my appointment. The staff did not turn me away, in fact they made a huge effort to fit me in. I did not feel rushed in the slightest and they took their time to listen to me and answer questions I had with care and compassion.

The procedure itself was quite intimate, and although I was nervous, the staff were just fantastic, I was able to feel relaxed throughout the examination.

Too often, the NHS receive a bad press, yet the staff continue to show a level of care towards their patients that is beyond belief.

Thankyou to Dorothy and Linda for looking after me today, you are both wonderful (Xray department - NTGH)

We would never want to turn a patient away and I'm delighted that our staff were able to see you at short notice and provide you with excellent care. We know that hospitals are very unfamiliar places for many and that our patients can feel naturally nervous before receiving care or treatment, especially if the examination is of an intimate nature. Our staff want to do all they can to help you relax and trust in the care you are about to receive. Providing time to allow important questions to be asked, and showing warmth and compassion in all we do, are very important aspects of our care - I am so pleased that they made such a difference for you.
