"Heartlands cafe"

About: Heartlands Hospital

(as a relative),

My brother is in heartlands and as a treat we took him in a wheelchair to the cafe. In the corner were about fifty men having a meeting, they were shouting and talking really loud.

We took him back to the ward but were concerned as to what was going on, we looked for security but no one was around.

Dear Kendrick

Thank you for raising this issue which I too became aware of this afternoon.

We believe these gentlemen are new to the area and I will be speaking to leaders from this community over the next few days to explain that this cafe area is primarily for patients, their families and staff. Please accept my apologies if this incident made you and your brother uncomfortable at all.

Security is aware and we will be keeping a close eye on the situation until it is resolved which we hope to achieve within the next few days.
