"Planned C-Section"

About: Kingston Hospital

Anything else?

I was booked in to have my second baby by planned C-section on the 30th January. From start to finish the care I received was first class. I arrived at at the hospital at 7.45am and didn't actually get into the operating theatre until 5pm which was a long wait due to other emergency operations but apart from the wait the surgery itself went without a hitch and to my great surprise and delight I got a private room which was wonderful. Throughout the night if I needed help I pressed the button and someone would appear straight away to help out always smiling and kind and respectfully knocking on the door before coming in. I was offered food and drink and medicine regularly and always felt cared for but also they left me alone to sleep and bond with my baby. I asked for help with breast feeding on several occasions and was given great advice. A huge huge thank you to all the staff pre and post op it was a wonderful experience. THANK YOU
