The maternity care was appalling. As the patient symptoms did not fit the text book guidance, the staff failed to take note of what was actually happening to the patient, make a proper assessment and kept sending the patient back home despite the obvious desparate pain and trauma. The patient's wishes were totaly disragrded to pursue a particular course of action that would have saved a life. The staff made the patient to feel like an inconvenience when help was asked. I wish I never have to step in to the New Cross Hospital again and certainly wont be recommending it to anyone.
