Whilst the staff and service during my wife's recent labour was very good. The ward and a problem with a. Baby alarm constantly ringing, upsetting patients and causing stress to my wife inparticular. Some staff called th relevant dept,to have the alarm switched off, however others said that they were busy. The alarm was extremely loud and no_one seemed to care about switching it off. I'd also like to complain about the disgusting food at this hospital.inedible at times. They should be ashamed of themselves serving rubbish like this to patients.mthe restuarant/ cafe was no better.

Congratulations on the birth of your child. We are pleased to hear that everything went well during your wife's labour. However, we are sorry to hear of the disruption and upset caused by a constant ringing alarm, and that staff did not respond quickly to get it resolved. It is disappointing to hear that the food was very poor, both in the ward and in the restaurant. We will ensure that this is fed back to Sodexo, who provide our catering for us.
