My mum was in hospital for 3 weeks - she is 90 and I was very concerned. As a family we have been very lucky and have had no experience of hospitals so we didn't know what to expect - especially when you listen to the news. I need not have worried at all, the staff were charming and efficient, the hospital was clean (my mum walked around in pale pink socks - and they didn't get dirty|) and I can't praise the hospital enough for everything. Everyone knew what was going on - very organised everywhere. We had the occasion to use A&E too - and you do have to sit and wait if they are busy - but they do see urgent cases first and again the staff were lovely.
