"Dirty, non-english speaking, poor attempt at..."

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Anything else?

Pros: Receptionist in A&E was friendly Seen by the initial nurse quickly Cons: - Doc didn't clean cut fully - now infected! - Would give them a 1/10 for speaking English - No communication. Didn't even know what they were going to do next until I saw the tools! - Stitches very badly sewn. Been to another hospital since who couldn't believe when they saw it. - Was told no more than 40min wait, but turned out to be over 2hrs. - When went to another hospital few days later they thought I'd been there for the injury before, this was due to Glos entering the incorrect info on their system. - No mention of getting tetnus jab (I'm 7 yrs past renewal date) - No info provided on how I should look after the stitches/dressing. - I had 2 other major cuts (one on my face after heavily banging head). Was told to use the sink to clean them myself. - Dirty: rubbish, blood, sick could be spotted on the floors throughout. - Extortionate parking fees. Summary: Unless you can't wait or they don't have the equipment at another hospital, my advice is to use an alternative hospital.
