What could be improved
My mother is currently a patient at Northwick Park Hospital having been transferred from Central Middlesex Hospital. I happened to visit her during the day (not being at work). On arriving through the door the doctor attending to her asked if I could go down with her to get an ultrasound done as there was a lack of nurses at the time which to be honest surprised me. I was not intending to stay very long but ended up staying 2.5 hours in total. What really shocked me was the questions that were asked by the doctor - she seemed to have no idea what my mother's symptoms were and no idea about her medical history! It seemed that whatever I said would have been sufficient for her to act on. I asked her if she had not received any information from the previous hospital, as they had all my mother's history - she assured me she had but still asked me questions which suggested she hadn't.
