Anything else?
I was transported by ambulance & admitted to the A&E dept for chest pains where I was quickly assessed & given pain relief, rapidly followed by various tests before being taken to Ward 21 bay 2 where I was made comfortable by the caring nurses. Following visits from doctors & examinations I was advised that I would be staying for an Angiogram & repairs as necessary. Blood tests carried out & blood pressure taken all with kind words of reassurance. After regular testing I was advised that I was on the theatre list for the morning. On arriving at the theatre the surgeon & his team introduce themselves & quickly got me settled. Whilst the procedure was being carried out I was advised of progress by both surgeon & nurses. Then returned to Ward 21 where I was greeted by smiling nurses & prepared for a nights rest. Morning came together with regular monitoring & medication together with what to expect next. At all times I was kept aware of my treatment & the reason for all the medication. Each & every member of staff were so caring & professional at all hours of day & night, I thank you all so much.
