This is just a short note to say how much I appreciated all the help and care that I received at Airedale GH during a recent brief stay. From the initial visit at home from the First Responder and for the kind support on the journey from the ambulance paramedics, the immediate attention and encouragement of the nurse and her collleagues in A & E and the subsequent care by the many and various medical and auxiliary staff and the information and advice from thre stroke consultants in Ward 2, I have nothing but praise and gratitude. Ward 2 is very busy with many patients coming and going but all the staff showed a personal concern throughout my stay. During these days of change and sometimes unhelpful comments about standards in the NHS I would like to record my thanks for the quality of care and help I rececived from everyone.
