Anything else?

My 97 year old mother was admitted to QE with a fractured hip she also had dementia from the moment she was admitted she was treated with dignity and respect I would go as far to say love and kindness and believe me she was one feisty lady that generation were, the staff took it with such good grace. She past away six weeks after she was admitted I do not say sadly because it was her time. She was in a lovely side ward the late evening sun shining the voice of a very young cancer victim playing in Sam's play ground with dad holding a chemo bag while she played. My mum slipped out of this world at peace with me holding her hand everyone one on duty different nationalities and creeds come up to hug me before I left the ward, I walked out of the Queen Elizabeth sad but in the knowledge age didn't matter they all cared. Thank you all for restoring the happy memories I had of my mum.

Response from Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich

Thank you for your lovely message. I am sorry to hear your mother passed away, but am glad to hear you felt it was still a good experience during her time at the QE. Best wishes for the future.
