Went to frenchay outpatients after calling the new 111 number (also very helpful). Reception staff were friendly, and wasn't waiting long for my appointment. The doctor was great with my child (who was the sick one), being very appropriate with her. Building's a bit shabby but that's for the powers that be to fix. Thank you NHS!

Dear Anonymous – thank you for taking the time and trouble to feed back about the positive experience of the service and care you both received at Frenchay Hospital. Many of the buildings at Frenchay are being used well past their intended useful life, and this means that regrettably they are showing their age. However, the new hospital, which was partly commissioned due to the age of buildings at both the Frenchay and Southmead sites, will provide a very good environment for all patients.
