I attended the A & E after collapsing at work. I was a bit apprehensive due to negative reports I have heard about Colchester General Hospital. The treatment I was given by the ambulance crew was excellent. Once at the hospital I was seen to very quickly. The staff there were very friendly and efficient & appeared happy in their work. . The standard of cleanliness appeared to be very good. There was a little confussion about me staying or being discharged. I could see this could have caused slight distress to some people but I realise Doctors have different opinions. I was in no doubt my welfare was their priority. Overall a very good experience.
