After contacting the comedy 111 service which i would not recommend to anyone and will never use it again as long as it exist.( the way it going won't be long) i was ask for to bring my daughter in to visit the out of hours doctor. The doctor explained his finding and advised us to get further treatment not a problem. He did the paperwork and asked us to make our way to the ward. My daughter age 17,actual 18 in 5 weeks was send to the children s ward. The staff on here were really supportive and explained everything that was going to happen. My daughter ended up having her appendix out and the care and after care was excellent. Although at times the communication level with her was a little childish, really was the wording "i'm the sleepy doctor" right for age group antitheses would of been fine. she was in deed a little uncomfortable being placed on a children s ward as i 'm sure there should be better facilities for that really difficult age group or at least trying to arrange facilities that are more geared around them. overall the care was excellent within the hospital just a few tweaks needed.
"teenager/ almost an adult care"
