What I liked
My son broke his finger at gymnastics he was first treated at Edgware and then at Barnet. The service was superb and extremely fast at the A&E, gratulations. I don't know the name of the doctor but he was very, very good. He manipulated the finger then and there. My son broke his finger at 7pm and at 11.30pm we where back at home watching tv.
What could be improved
The fracture clinic is a different matter. The finger should be looked at on Thursday 3 weeks from the day it was broken but today is Wednsday and we have not just no appointment we are not even able to speak to anybody in the fracture clinic. The last time I phoned I held on over 30 min to listen to a tape. So I think the aftercare service is very poor indeed.
