This is without doubt the worst hospital I have been in, in the country. The staff are totally demoralised, the buildings are falling apart and filthy. The levels of services are atrocious. We have had both our sons born here and the drop in service level was astounding. Why would I be telling a nurse where the Gas/Air is kept and how to setup a drip machine?? The waiting times for A & E are consistently over 6 hours, Childrens' A & E over 5. When you challenge clinical decisions or treatment you get met with hostilitiy and treatment is withdrawn or begrudgingly given - Hippocratic Oath? If you can avoid this place, do so... but where else is there? Sidcup Closed.... Lewisham Closed... We're doomed.
