My Mother passed away in this hospital on 3rd May. When she was admitted to Surgical ward 6 I was on holiday and it was four days before I could get a flight back. I am an only child and the only next of kin and during the four days prior to her death the staff were superb, phoning me to discuss her treatment and decisions that needed to be taken and when I called them they were always helpful and communicative. When I arrived back in the UK they had made arrangements for me to access the hospital even though it was late at night and I was able to spend her last couple of hours at her side.

The bereavement office were also superb and could not have been more helpful.

Overall, wonderful communication and really kind supportive staff.
