Anything else?
Felt like a game of pass the parcel when I came in for recent operation. Ward closed, no- one seemed to have same info on where I was being either operated on or which ward afterwards! Extremely stressful and I only hope they learn from my complaint and no-one else is treated like that.
Nurses and doctors were excellent although specialist nurses were not available in the ward I ended up in and consequently had little or no relevent info given to me on discharge - in fact info on removal of clips was totally wrong but fortunately picked up by district nurse!
My treatment up to point of admission was excellent - what a pity that this was let down so badly by whoever was playing 'pass the patient'.
