"Delays with scans..."

Anything else?

My mother has been sitting in hospital for two days and two nights now waiting for a scan, and still none is forthcoming. She's sitting there and had doctors come in to reinsert cannulas, and is being pumped full of morphine, but still no scan and no definite answer to what's wrong with her...Ward 10.

Please will someone get this sorted out now? I'm out of the country and can't be there to see how she's doing, relying on text messages...

Many thanks for getting in touch with us. I appreciate the stress and worry you must be feeling about your mother being in hospital while you are so far away.

I have spoken to the nurse in charge of the ward and they do not have any patients there whose care is as you describe.

It is very difficult for me to investigate further without some additional information. I would urge you to get in touch with me so I can follow this up without delay.
