What I liked
Regarding A&E admission last year - was taken in following incident of self harm. the doctor I spoke to initially was brilliant - very understanding and caring.
What could be improved
Left A&E prematurely - was waiting to have a blood test and for my wounds to be cleaned/stitched. A nurse came into the room and accused me of smoking. I AM a smoker and had had a cigarette about 30 mins before but NOT in the room - 1) I am well aware of the no smoking procedures and 2) the door was open so it would have been stupid to even consider it. Nurse had a very bad attitude and left me feeling even worse than when I had arrived.
Left the hospital in tears and sorted out my cuts at home.
