We received superb support from the Community Midwifery Team during my pregnancy, home birth and postnatal care.

We were actively encouraged to choose a home birth which was the perfect option for us and when the time came, we could not have asked for a more professional service, making the whole experience so comfortable and relaxed; even better than we could have wished.

The postnatal care, and particularly the support in establishing the breastfeeding after a rather challenging start, was second to none. The midwives and Maternity Assistants who visited us at home were invaluable. We feel very privileged to have met these lovely ladies who were all so approachable, knowledgeable, sympathetic and full of practical advice.
