"Dolphin Ward, treatment for asthma"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Anything else?

Our 9 month old baby was admitted to hospital having suffered a serious bout of asthma. He stayed on Dolphin ward for a total of four nights and the staff there were perfect! Our son was well cared for, the nurses were kind, compassionate and supportive and Drs kept us informed every step of the way. I stayed with our son over night and my husband stayed with him during the day. Although beds are provided for parents to stay with the children it is difficult to sleep due to the noise from other patients and people being admitted during the night. Our son, and the other children on the ward managed to sleep though peacefully.

We are so grateful for the high level of care my son has received and for all of the effort that all the staff have put in to making him better and sending him home. We're pretty sure that we'll end up back on the ward at some point in the future but are confident that Our son will receive the highest level of care possible.
