A simple in and out operation for gall bladder removal. In and out. Not so . Caught infection after infection and three days became three weeks. Eventually leading to kidney failure. Main problem was not seeing the same doctor/surgeon twice. Someone says this needs to be done but doesn't write it up. Hence fluids needed but 3 days before started.Renal man needed echo scan - took a week!!! Told my diet was wrong but didn't get a specific diet and so started being sick after every meal. Even scolded by the tea lady because of untidy table! Basic care was lacking. Only when it became quite dramatic [emergency or urgent] did anything seem to get done. However things did improve....when I was transferred to leicester.
