What I liked

I have just been treated in MAU. I would like to say that this department was the most efficient, effective and hygienic ward I have ever been treated in. The Consultants, Doctors, nurses and HCAs were fantastic. Their dedication to their job, patient care and knowledge could not be surpassed. No stone was left unturned in getting to grips with what turned out to be a difficult diagnosis. I came away feeling better than I was before I became ill. The whole experience was excellent.

What could be improved

The only improvement I would make is to stop other patients from moaning. From my experience, it appears that the people that moan are either just unthinking of the problems that other people have, or that they do not realise the intense pressure that the hospital is under (especially MAU).

MAU should be congratulated. I was instantly relieved to be in a place where I had confidence that a cure would be found.
