"Priory 4 ward standard of care is..."

About: Sandwell General Hospital

Anything else?

My very close family member is in priory 4 at the moment. The standard of care is appaling, urine bag left dumped on the floor filled with urine asked the nurse twice before someone came and disposed of it. Left sitting in faeces for half and hour which had seeped through to the sheets, i had to bring it to the attention of the staff during visiting and thats when they came to clean. Not hoisted out into chair as not enough staff, not answering to the buzzers and not to mention the rudeness of the staff. Half the time the staff are sitting having a banter. Its no point complaining as no one takes on board and blame is passed from one person to the other.

I am sorry to hear about the unacceptable experience your family member underwent whilst staying on Priory 4. If you would like to provide more detail you contact me on tobylewis@nhs.net so we can investigate this matter thoroughly. Toby Lewis, Chief Executive
