Thank you for allowing me to express my gratitude at a job well done by all the staff here at Gloucester Royal. I have been in Ward 7b for 5 days suffering from a tropical illness. The illness was terrible but the treatment, care and compassion I received has maintained my belief that NHS staff are doing a great job and no wonder so many other people in countries around the world are jealous of our jewel.

People are always quick to slate and criticise when things go badly but from my experience there is no justification for complaint, the system is working fine and the people in it deserve better than just my praise.
