Anything else?
On Good Friday whilst staying at my mother's house in Paignton I was unfortunately taken ill and an ambulance had to be called to take me to A&E. I would like to say that the treatment and consideration I was given from the moment the ambulance arrived and throughout the 2 days that I spent at the Torbay Hospital was excellent. The nurses and doctors in both A&E and Allerton Ward were superb and so caring. I would like to express my thanks to them all.
Since this experience my 91 year old mother had to be taken to the A&E department at the Torbay hospital. She spent several days in EAU3 and was then transferred to Elizabeth ward. Just like my experience she was treated very well at all times and the nurses and doctors showed so much patience and compassion. My mother was transferred to the Paignton hospital, where she was also treated very well and I'm pleased to say she has now been discharged and has returned to her home. Something that she thought was never going to happen. Thanks due again to all who cared so well for her.
